WOLPERT,Alma Wilhelm, 92, peacefully passed away on Friday, January 29, 2010, while in the loving care of her family and the staff at the Nazareth Home.
She was a long time employee at Avery Savings and Loan and a faithful member of St. Stephen United Church of Christ. Her favorite pastimes were dancing, gardening and looking after her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles Schambach and her second husband, Clifford Wolpert; her parents John and Sophie Wilhelm; her brothers, Karl Wilhelm (Marcella), Albert Wilhelm (Lorine) and Earl Wilhelm.
She will be greatly missed by her sister, Dorothy Wilhelm Scheibel (Ralph); sister in law, Doris Wilhelm; friend Bobbie Oller; 13 adoring nieces and nephews; 19 great nieces and nephews and 12 great great nieces and nephews.
A service celebrating her life will be 11am Tuesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, with burial in Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday 2-8pm at the funeral home.
