Rocco J. Aliberti, 79, of Plymouth formerly of Hyde Park, passed away on January 27th . He was the beloved husband of Gina “Jean” (Giannangelo) Aliberti. Brother of Augustine Aliberti of Braintree, Helen Shedd of Rutland, Lucille Kvarcien of Shrewsbury and Rose Reade of Hyde Park. He also leaves many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and his dear pet bird, Lucky Boy. Rocco was born in Hyde Park to the late Andrew and Anna (Merolla) Aliberti. He summered in Plymouth for many years and moved to Plymouth nine years ago. He had worked for Draper Bros in Canton as a shop superintendent. He was a member of the American Legion, NRA, GOAL (Gun Owner’s Action League) and he enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, February 2nd at 10 o’clock at St. Margaret’s Church in Buzzards Bay. Visiting hours will be held on Monday, Feb. 1st at the Richard Davis Funeral Home, 619 State Road (Route 3A), Plymouth (Manomet) from 4-8 PM. Burial will be at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
