Domenico Firicano, of Boston’s North End, formerly of Medford, died Thursday at the North End Rehabilitation Center. He was 76.
Born and raised in Italy, He was the son of the late Salvatore and Anna Firicano. He lived in the North End for several years before settling in Medford. After a few years living in Methuen he returned to the North End. Devoted to his family and friends, Domenico worked as a meat cutter and butcher before his retirement.
The beloved husband of Pasqua (Giacalone) Firicano, Domenico was a devoted father to Salvatore Firicano of Dracut, Anna Fionda of Woburn, Joseph Firicano of Manchester, NH and the late Josephine Goggin. He was a loving grandfather to Joshua, Ryan, John, Brandon, Tyler, Bianca, Justin, and Christopher. Domenic was also a dear brother to Joseph Firicano of Somerville, Angela Montano of Malden, Maria Paglia of Malden, Leonardo Firicano of Italy and the late Franco Firicano.
His funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Monday, February 1 at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High Street, Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Sunday 4-8. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
