Olga (Rapoza) Freitas, age 84 of Fall River, passed away Jan. 27, 2010. Widow of Sebastian Freitas. Born in Fall River, daughter of the late Augustus C. and Maria (Perreira) Rapoza. She was a member of St. Joseph Church. Before retiring in 2007, she was a Sewing Machine Operator at Lamport, Tic-Tock Frocks, Webb Sportswear, and then a Cafeteria Lady at B.M.C. Durfee High School.
She is survived by 1 Daughter: Susan Lavoie Swenson of Fall River. 2 Grandchildren: Robert A. Lavoie of Attleboro & Amy A. & husband Paul E. Berard Jr. of Swansea. 4 Great Grandchildren: Adam, Allison, Andrew Lavoie, & Paul J. Berard. Many nieces & nephews including: Paul & Joyce Sarro & Jack & Mary Fox. She was also the mother in law of Doug Swenson & grandmother of Jason Swenson.
Her funeral will take place from the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 1521 N. Main St. SATURDAY at 8:00 A.M. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph Church at 9:00 A.M.
