Obituary

Mr. Albert Nadeau, 82, of 14 Starr King Park, Lancaster, NH passed away on Sunday January 24, 2010 at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon. He was born in West Stewartstown, NH on July 10, 1927 and resided in Berlin in his younger years. He entered the US Navy and following World War II, he married and settled in Connecticut. He had been employed by United Technologies in Windsor Locks, CT. and retired to Lancaster in 1989. He was a member of All Saints Church, where he served as a Eucharistic minister, and was a member of the Men of St. Joseph’s.

Members of the family include his daughter Ann Cyr of Chester, NH; his son Donald Nadeau of Westfield, MA; 4 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; 4 sisters Bella Marchand of Gorham, NH, Doris Marchand of Manchester, CT, Cecile Parent of Tolland, CT and Lucille Jackson of Fort Erie, Ontario, Canada; 2 brothers Aimee Nadeau of Berlin, NH and Alex Nadeau of Yuma, AZ; nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his wife Annette (Demers) Nadeau, a sister Alberta and brothers Pete and Louie.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday January 28, 2010 at 11 AM at All Saints Catholic Church in Lancaster, NH. Those attending are asked to meet directly at the church on Thursday. Interment will be in the Holy Family Cemetery in Gorham, NH. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 1 Promenade St., Gorham, NH on Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
