Mr. Bobby Weathers
April 26, 1945 - January 24, 2010
Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Sunday, January 24, 2010, at Doctors Hospital, Mr. Bobby Weathers, 64, beloved husband to Sara Jean Weathers and dearly loved daddy to Jennifer Harrison.
Mr. Weathers was a lifelong resident of Augusta and was a member of Curtis Baptist Church. He was a painter and wallpaper hanger by trade and worked with his life-long friends Bob Jewitt, Charles Dunn and the late Johnny Dunn.
Other family members include his daughters: Jennifer Harrison & her husband Matthew, Wendie Stickel & her husband Andy, and Pamela Goodwin; step-daughters: Debbie Woodward & her fiancé Jason Wilson, and Donna Hall; sisters: Shirley James and Donna Jean Epperly & her husband Lewis; brother: Billy Weathers and his wife Rita; grandchildren: Kristy Orzechowski, Kimberly Cooper, Kayla Cooper, Kristian Woodward, Kaitlynn Woodward, Grey Stickel, Jackson Stickel, Asher Stickel, Nicole Goodwin and Justin Bass; great- grandchildren: Curtis Orzechowski and Grace Cooper; and his dog, Boone. Mr. Weathers was preceded in death by his parents, H.V. and Ruby Weathers and his step-mother, Myrtle Weathers.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev Albert Stroupe officiating. Interment will follow at Westview Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Gene Ansley, Woodrow Ansley, Bob Jewitt, Jamison Jewitt, Steve White, Richard Harrison, Jake Weathers and Robbie Epperly.
