Kenneth W. King, 77, of Summerville, loving husband of 53 years to Elaine A. King died Sunday, January 24, 2010 at his residence.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at 2 o’clock at James A. Dyal Funeral Home, Summerville.
Burial will be private.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 1 o‘clock until the hour of service on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Ken was born July 28, 1932 in Masontown, Pennsylvania, son of the late Charles and Virginia Miner King. He attended German Township High School. He enjoyed photography, gardening, fishing, boating and hunting. He retired from Alcoa in Cleveland, Ohio as a Bench Trimmer in the Titanium Division and was a union member of Alcoa.
Surviving in addition to his devoted wife are: 2 daughters: Kathy Plachcinski (Michael) of Summerville and Karyn Bloomingburg (Randy) of Mount Pleasant, 4 grandsons: Spencer and Zachary Plachcinski both of Summerville and James and John Connor Bloomingburg both of Mount Pleasant, 3 brothers: Eugene King, Harry King and Charles King.
