Elizabeth (Farias) Oliveira, age 96 of Fall River, passed away Jan. 24, 2010. Widow of Manuel Oliveira. Born in Fall River, daughter of the late Antone and Maria (Silvia) Farias. Before retiring, she was an Inspector at Paroma Draperies in Fall River. She was a member of Espirito Santo Church and the Flint Senior Center.
She is survived by 2 Children: Robert Oliveira and wife Tammy of Roanoke, VA; and Theresa Pereira and husband John of Somerset, MA. 1 Sister: Margaret Affonso of Somerset. 4 Grandchildren: John Pereira IV and Karen Pereira both of Somerset; Robert & wife Wanda Oliveira of Texas, David & wife Lisa Oliveira of FL, & their mother Helen Oliveira of FL. 3 Great Grandchildren: Christopher, Shealynn, & Cole; and several nieces & nephews. She was also sister of the late Antone, Joseph, John, & Edward Oliveira, Bella Medeiros, Mary Anderson, & Annie Medeiros.
Following Cremation, Relatives & Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial in Espirito Santo Church WEDNESDAY, Feb. 3, 2010 at 9:00 A.M. Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 1521 N. Main St.
