Obituary

Mrs. Laura R. "Tina" Ayotte, age 84, a lifelong resident of Lowell, died on Sunday January 24, 2010 at her home in Pawtucketville following an extended. She was the widow of Leo A. Ayotte who died in 2002.
She was born in Lowell on April 13th, 1925, daughter of the late Napoleon & Beatrice (Brunelle) Plante. She was a communicant of St. Rita's Parish in Lowell.
Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a Nurses Aid at D'Youville Senior Care in Lowell for over 30 years.
According to the family, Tina enjoyed bingo and playing cards.
She is survived by her daughter, Judy Demers and her husband Bob of Dracut; four sons, David Ayotte and his companion Ellen, Donald Ayotte and his wife Pamela, Daniel Ayotte and his companion Melissa, Dale Ayotte and his companion Bambi, all of Lowell; 16 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She was also mother of the late Alan Wayne Mullin, and grandmother of the late Alan Wayne Mullin, II.
She was also pre-deceased by two brothers.

Laura R. "Tina" (Plante) Ayotte, 84; Relatives & Friends will be received on Wednesday Jan. 27, from 4:00-8:00 PM at the M.R. LAURIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 295 Pawtucket St., Lowell, MA 01854. Funeral Thursday morning with a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10 o'clock at St. Rita's Church, 158 Mammoth Rd., Lowell. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the American Lung Association of New England-460 Totten Pond Road, Suite 400, Waltham, MA, 02451.
