Obituary

North Andover, MA – James M. Tiberio, 81, died Friday morning at the Lahey Clinic and Medical Center in Burlington.
Mr. Tiberio was born in Lawrence the son of Ralph and Josephine (Misserville) Tiberio.
For 33 years he was a Supervisor for the Raytheon Company in Andover before his 1991 retirement. James was a communicant of Saint Michael’s Church of North Andover, and belonged to the Lawrence Lodge of Elks # 65 B.P.O.E., the North Andover Knights of Columbus, enjoyed cooking, took a lot of pride in his tomato garden, working out, and most importantly lived for his family, and besides his wife Helen adored his children, grandchildren, greatgrandchildren and his nieces.
During the Korean War he served his country in the United States Army before being honorably discharged.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years Helen L. (Petralia) Tiberio, children; Jodi L. and her husband Ronald Cahalane of Methuen, Ralph J. and his wife Debbie Tiberio of Florida, Deborah J. and her husband Matthew Orlando of Methuen, Lisa M. Tiberio-MacLean of North Andover and her former husband Mark MacLean of Salem, NH, 7 grandchildren;Michael, Jennifer, Stephanie and her fiancé Jason DiLorenzo, Ashley, Amanda, James, Nicholas and Jake, two greatgrandchildren Hailey and Kaitlyn, two nieces Linda & her husband Louie Tardie, and Mary Ellen Baker.
Mr. Tiberio was predeceased by his sister Janet Feroce.
A Mass of Christian burial will take place on Tuesday morning at 10 o’clock in Saint Michael’s Church with burial to follow in Saint Mary’s Cemetery.
Friends are invited to pay their respects on Monday from 4-8 PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, Inc. 233 Lawrence Street in Methuen.
