Belinda S. Ilarraza, 40 of Albany, NY, formerly of New Bedford, died September 20, 2003 unexpectedly at Albany Medical Center.
She was the daughter of Betty A. (Mello) Nobre of Dartmouth, Mass., and the late Hiram Ilarraza, and step-daughter of Richard Nobre of Dartmouth.
Belinda was born in Bridgeport, Conn., and lived in New Bedford most of her life before moving to Albany 12 years ago.
She was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Assumption Church in New Bedford.
Belinda enjoyed spending time with her family.
Survivors include her mother and step-father; her longtime companion, Gregory Young, of Albany; 4 sons, Wayne and Ray, both of North Kingston, RI, and Antonio and LaFayette, both of Albany; a daughter, Venus of Albany; a brother, Antonio Nobre of Rhode Island; 2 sisters, Dulcie Ann Mello of New Bedford and Venus Mello of Providence, RI; 3 step-brothers, Richard Nobre of Freetown, Mass., Troy Nobre of New Bedford and Adam Nobre of Fall River, Mass.; her maternal grandmother, Madeline (Alves) Mello of East Providence, RI; 2 grandsons; and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
