Ronald Ward Sr., 66, a longtime resident of Londonderry, passed away suddenly Tuesday, January 19 2010 at his home. Ronald was born in Kansas City, MO to the late James and Teresa (Reddick) Ward and was a 20 year veteran and honorably discharged retiree from the United States Air Force. He then worked for Raytheon, retiring from there after 12 years of service and then Comcast for 7 years as a computer technician. He most recently worked part time at the Radio Shack in Derry.
Ronald was a 32nd degree Mason and a jazz enthusiast.
He leaves his wife, Donna (Wolfe) Ward of Pelham, NH, his children, Ronald Ward Jr., of Brighton, MA, daughter, Stephanie Smith of Dallas, TX, sister, Gloria Ward of Cleveland, OH, grandchildren, Christopher Arthur, Brandon Smith and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, Rick and Jimmy Ward.
Calling hours were held on Saturday January 23, 2010 from 10am until the time of the service at 11:00 at the Peabody Funeral Home and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Mr. Ward to the Pinkerton Academy Athletic Department Fund, 5 Pinkerton St. Derry NH 03038.
