Claire M. (Veillette) Karvelas, age 67 of Lowell, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 17, 2010 surrounded by her loving family at Tufts Medical Center in Boston. She was the wife of the late Nicholas C. Karvelas who passed away in 1987.
She was born in Lowell on July 1, 1942, a daughter of the late Gerard and Theresa (Levasseur) Veillette.
Claire leaves her three children, Paula Peacock and her husband Richard of Lowell, Thomas Karvelas and his wife Kathy of Manchester, NH, and Patricia Marotta and her husband Roy of Stoddard, NH; her six grandchildren, Emily, Julia, Tara, Amy, Nicole and Olivia.
At her request, services will be held privately.
