WALLACE,Bernice “Bert” Mary, 99, of Louisville, passed away Saturday, January 16, 2010.
She retired from the old Bacon’s drapery department. She was a member of St. Helen’s Catholic Church where she belong to the Senior Citizens Group and the Alter-Society.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Estill M. Wallace and her son, Estill M. Wallace, Jr.
She is survived by her daughter, Wanda McIntyre; daughter-in-law, Doris Wallace; brother, Jim Fuqua; sister, Dora Carpenter; 9 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and many great great grandchildren.
Her service will be 10am Tuesday at Mary Queen of Peace (St. Helen’s campus), 4005 Dixie Highway, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens, West.
Visitation will be Monday 4-8pm at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway.
