Methuen, MA- Jean A. (Allicon) Zinno, 75, a longtime resident of Lawrence and more recently of Methuen, died peacefully Saturday, January 16th, 2010, following a brief illness, at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Andover, Jean was the daughter of Leo and Irene (Topping) Allicon. She was educated in the Reading, MA School System and attended Spaulding High School in Rochester, NH. Jean’s passion was her family and she dedicated her life to caring for them.
Jean was a longtime communicant of St. Patrick’s Church in Lawrence. She was also very active within the Cedar Homes Community in Methuen where she lived. She also enjoyed her daily walks and conversations with her friends. Her family was the true joy in her life. She especially enjoyed the family cookouts and spending the holidays with her children and grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
The widow of the late Frank Zinno, Jean will never be forgotten and remembered in the hearts of her two daughters, Karen A. Rossi and her husband Thomas M. of Derry, NH, Lisa M. Jean and her husband Wayne F. of Derry, NH, one son William J. Passamonte and his wife Deborah of South Lawrence and a daughter-in-law Deborah Passamonte of Methuen. She will also be deeply missed by her 9 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Jean was pre-deceased by her son, the late Michael J. Passamonte.
ARRANGEMENTS: Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Tuesday, January 19th, 2010 from 4-8 PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home 233 Lawrence St., in Methuen. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, January 20th at 11AM at St. Patrick’s Church in Lawrence with burial to follow at the United Lebanese Cemetery.
