Obituary

Miss Rose Verolini, age 81, of Medford died Tuesday Jan. 12th in the Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Medford. Miss Verolini was born in Boston, the daughter of the late Felice and Carmela (Tortorella) Verolini. She is a graduate of Girls High School in Boston, class of 1945.
She was a Supervisor, and worked a various other positions within the banking industry. She enjoyed reading, traveling, theatre and was fond of the Museum of Science as well as the Museum of Fine Arts. An animal lover, she was also a supporter of the Wildlife Foundation. In earlier years she was an active member of St. Francis of Assisi Women’s Club. She will be lovingly remembered by her family as a generous loving sister, aunt and great aunt. She is survived by 3 sisters, Anna and Mary Verolini of Medford and Theresa Crafts of Avon. Loving aunt of Patricia Montgomery of Texas, Karen Saunders and Diane Quimby of Raynham and Valerie Murphy of Walpole. Also survived by several great nieces and nephews. Friends may call on Friday from 4 thru 7 at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford. A funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Francis Of Assisi Church, 441 Fellsway West, Medford, Saturday at 10:30 am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. In lieu of flowers, Contributions may be made to St. Francis Of Assisi Church-Building Fund, 441 Fellsway West, Medford, MA 02155
