Obituary

WORCESTER-Mary E. Nagle, 77, of Worcester, died Monday January 11th in UMass-Memorial Medical Center. She is survived by cousins and friends.

She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Edward J. and Anna (McGauley) Nagle and lived here all her life. She graduated from the former Classical High School, received her Bachelor Degree from Clark University, and her Master of Education Degree from Fitchburg State College. She did graduate studies at the Marine Biological Laboratory at Woods Hole, the University of Maryland, the College of the Holy Cross, and Worcester State College.

Miss Nagle was a secondary school teacher and for many years taught biology at Worcester South High School. She was a member of the Clark University Alumni Association, Massachusetts Teacher’s Association, National Education Association, Worcester Historical Society, and an Honorary Life Member of the Nature Conservancy. She was also active in the former Worcester High School Teacher’s Bowling League.

The funeral is Monday, January 18th with a Mass at 10:00 A.M. in St. Charles Borromeo Church, 341 June Street. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Northampton. There are no calling hours. Please omit flowers. Donations may be made to Bosler Humane Society, P.O. Box 13, Baldwinville, MA 01436.
