Obituary


Leominster—Geneva (Temples) Kielinen, 83, passed away suddenly Sunday, January 10, 2010, in Leominster Hospital. Her husband of 45 years, Henry R. Kielinen, Sr., died in 1987. She leaves one son, Henry R. Kielinen, Jr., of Leominster and one daughter, Sandra J. Falish of Spencer. She is also survived by her six grandchildren—Michael H. Falish, Stefanie A. Gannon, Jessica M. Kielinen, Kristen J. Lukaszevich, Julie A. Kielinen, and Joseph A. Kielinen and her four great-grandchildren—Ashelyn C. and Kyle R. Falish and Eva and Juliet Lukaszevich.

Geneva was born and educated in Georgia, daughter of Meadie Belle (Franks) and Henry H. Temples. She resided in Worcester from 1954 until 1987. Geneva was a seamstress and a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union. Geneva worked at Frank Trippis for 15 years and Millbrook Distributors for 10 years.

Funeral Services will be held at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street, Worcester, Friday, Jan. 15, at 10:30 a.m. A calling hour will be held at 9:30 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Lung Association, 1 Abbey Lane, Middleboro, MA 02346.
