Rufus Torrance, Jr., 70, passed away Sunday, January 10, 2010.
Born in Butler Co., KY, he was the son of the late Rufus and Marie Torrance Sr.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Christine Tyler; nephew, Dwight Gary; niece, Linda Tyler; and great-nephew, Zachary Dwight Gary.
He is survived by his sister, Betty Jean Gary; nieces and nephews, Pam Pack, Mike Gary (Sandy), Cindy Pryor (Roger), Patrick Gary, Liz Roederer (Paul), Timmy Gary (Sarah), Sarah Wambold (Jeff), Penny Gary, Brad Tyler (Trisha), Debbie Mauck (Jeff) and Donna Haverstock; numerous great-nieces and nephews; and his buddy, Kearney.
Funeral services will be 1 pm Thursday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with burial to follow in Beth Haven Cemetery.
Visitation will be 10am-8pm Wednesday and 9am Thursday to the time of service.
