Dorothy Gill Needy 78 of Louisville passed away Friday, January 8, 2010 at the Masonic Home.
Dorothy was the daughter of Garnett
And Emma Walker Gill who predeceased her in death.
Dorothy recently lost her sweetheart, John Needy. They had recently celebrated 63 years of marriage. Although she ccasionally worked outside the home, Dorothy was at heart a Homemaker.
She was a life long member of St. Rita Catholic Church.
She is survived by 2 Daughters Rita Williams ( Bo), Linda Johnson (Terry) and 3 sons David (Marsha), Mark (Janet), John (Hillary) Needy. She had 13 Grandchildren and 14 Great Grandchildren.
They will cherish her dedication to family her spirit, and zest for life and her great wit. They will miss her greatly.

Funeral services Monday January 11, 2010 at 10 A.M. at Owen Funeral Home-Jeffersontown 9318 Taylorsville Road with entombment in Louisville Memorial Gardens East.
Visitation will be Sunday from 2P.M. until 8 pm at the funeral home.
