Agostino, Matilde (Asturini) of Braintree formerly of Hingham died on Sunday, January 10, 2010, she was 83 years old. The beloved wife of the late Vincenzo Agostino. Loving mother of Joseph, Rocco & Natale Agostino all of Hingham, Rosa Toscano & Sal Agostino both of Hull, Theresa Toscano of Braintree and Gina Rosano of Cohasset and the late Frank Agostino. Sister of Mela Schirriba of Italy. Mitilde is also survived by 26 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, Matilde enjoyed cooking for her family and working out in her garden. She will be sadly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. Hingham Wednesday 4-8pm.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15AM on Thursday, prior to the
Funeral Mass in St. Paul's Church, Hingham at 10am.
Burial in Saint Paul's Cemetery, Hingham.
