Obituary

Manchester– Bernard W. Wyskiel, 91, died January 7, 2010 at Hillsborough County Nursing Home following a brief illness.
He was born in Manchester on April 14, 1918 the son of Joseph and Julia (Walan) Wyskiel.
He served his country in the U. S. Army during World War II. He was in the 82nd Airborne Division where he earned the bronze star. He also earned 4 battle stars during the European Theatre and in the Middle East.
He was a supervisor for the U. S. Post Office, retiring in 1989.
He held membership in the American Legion Post 79, the 82nd Airborne Association, and the VFW Post 8214. He was a long time member of Holy Trinity Cathedral.
He was predeceased by his wife, Mary (Coutris) Wyskiel in December of 1993.
Family members include 2 daughters, Donna Wyskiel and Darlene Wyskiel both of Manchester, 1 brother Chester Wyskiel of Reston VA., 2 sisters, Jane Ziakas of Manchester, Wanda Buczacki of Long Island, NY.
Services: Calling hours will be on Sunday from 1 to 3 pm at J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St.
A funeral mass will take place on Monday at 9 AM in Holy Trinity Cathedral, 166 Pearl St.
Burial will follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Goffstown Rd.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Holy Trinity Cathedral Building Fund, 166 Pearl St., Manchester, NH 03104.
