ANDERSON - Estelle Vanzant Anderson, 93, of Yulee, passed away on January 7, 2010 in Yulee, Florida at home with her children.
Mrs. Anderson was born in Kings Ferry, Florida on May 27, 1916. She moved to Yulee when she married Ira Anderson on Christmas Eve, 1937. She was a longtime member of Blackrock Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ira E. Anderson; her father and mother, Harvey and Lillian Vanzant; her grandparents who raised her from an infant, Tom and Jeanette Libby; brother, Clinton Libby and sisters, Olive Libby Jones and Josephine Vanzant Seagraves.
She is survived by her four children, Freddie Anderson, Lynette Willyoung, Ruth Brewer (Larry) and Sandra Boyett. She has seven grandchildren, Andrea Anderson Rushford, Kimberly Willyoung Gray, Eric Willyoung, Melissa Brewer Brown, Greg Brewer, Tate Boyett and Michael Boyett. She has eleven great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She has one sister in law, Juanita Libby.
Pallbearers will be Eric Willyoung, Greg Brewer, Tate Boyett, Michael Boyett, Ron Rushford and Van Seagraves. Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Anderson, David Peeples and John Itak and Sheriff Tommy Seagraves
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a. m. Monday, January 11, at Blackrock Baptist Church with Rev. Michael Bowen officiating. Interment will follow in the family burial estate at Green Pine Cemetery. The family will receive friends from Monday from 10:00 a. m. until the time of service at the church.
