Manchester– Barbara A. Jobin, 67, died January 6, 2010 at Elliot hospital following a brief illness.
She was born in Brooklyn, NY on February 25, 1942 the daughter of Edward and Catherine (Semple) Mira.
Prior to her retirement she had been worked for Profile Inspection and James W. Hills Co.
She was a parishioner of St. Pius X Church. She was a member of the Womens Auxiliary of South Little League Baseball. She enjoyed bowling, the Red Sox, knitting, reading, bingo, and music.
She was predeceased by her husband of 46 years, Peter J. Jobin, who died on April 2, 2008.
Family members include 3 sons, Peter E. Jobin, David R. Jobin, Thomas A. Jobin, all of Manchester, 15 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 1 sister, Susan Upton of Manchester, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services: Calling hours will be on Monday from 9 to 11 AM at J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St., Manchester. A funeral service will follow in the funeral home at 11 AM.
Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
