Theresa Doris (Guilmet) Fair, 85, passed away on Tuesday, January 5th, 2010 at the Holy Family Hospital in Methuen, MA.
Mrs. Fair was born in Methuen, Massachusetts on January 3, 1925 to the late Philip and Lucina (Moreau) Guilmet. She was joined in marriage to James R. Fair on October 10, 1948.
She was a life-long resident of Lawrence and Methuen and worked at Tire Rubber, Converse, Oomphies, and New Balance before retiring in 1987.
She was a spirited hard-working woman who lived life to the fullest and enjoyed her family and friends. In earlier years, her hobbies included sewing and dancing.
She was preceded in death by her husband James, her two infant grandsons, her son-in-law, James McIntire, her parents and her siblings: Alphonse (Alice) Guilmet, Philip (Pauline) Guilmet, Lucien (Althea) Guilmet, Herve (Theresa) Guilmet and Lillian (Rudolph) DiFruscia.
She is survived by her children:
Dianne and her husband Roger Flannery of Racine, WI
James and his wife Constance Fair of Rolling stone, MN
David Fair of Methuen, MA
and Theresa McIntire of Belmont, NH
Her Grandchildren: Kelly (Shawn) Flannery-Ostrowski, Brie (Steven) Piendergast, Erin (Christopher) Cimbalnik, Damien (Rahel) Fair, Kaleigh Fair, Melissa McIntire and James (Shawna) McIntire.
Nine Great Grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.

Rene' (Cecile) Guilmet of Middleboro, MA and Alfred (Barbara) Guilmet of Methuen, MA
Her sister: Edna (widow of Paul) Langevin of Bridgewater, NJ.
Her funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 9th, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 122 Amesbury Street, Lawrence, MA.
Burial will follow at the Saint Mary's Cemetery in Lawrence, MA.
