TAUNTON – Alberta (Perry) Jackson, wife of the late Eugene R. Jackson, died at the Golden Living Center – Oak Hill in Middleboro on Jan. 4, 2010.
She was 92.
Born in Taunton, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Laura (Rose) Perry.
Raised and educated in Taunton, and a member of the Taunton Seventh-day Adventist Church, Mrs. Jackson enjoyed reading the Bible.
She was a homemaker for most of her adult life, and enjoyed cooking, gardening, sewing, needlework, and playing the piano.
Survivors include a son, Preston David Jackson of Taunton; three daughters, Dianne “Nancy” Palmer and her husband George of Taunton, Gail Lockwood and her husband John of Mattapoisett, and Cheryl Licht and her husband Stephen of Taunton; a brother, David Perry and his wife Del of Taunton.
She also leaves four grandchildren, one great grandchild, and two nieces.
Funeral Services will be held at the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway Taunton on Friday, Jan. 8th at 11 a.m.
The family will receive visitors from 10 to 11 a.m., prior to the service.
Burial will be at Pinehill Cemetery in East Taunton.
