Worcester – Bernice B. Wickwire, 82, of Worcester died on Monday, January 4th in St. Vincent Hospital after a long illness.
Bernice was born in Worcester, MA daughter of the late Harry and Doris (Bancroft) Wickwire and is survived by a brother Otis E. Wickwire of Worcester and several cousins. She is also predeceased by a brother Grovner Wickwire.
Bernice is a graduate of the former Worcester City Hospital School of Nursing and worked as a registered nurse for 26 years with the Visiting Nurses Association. She was a member of Hadwen Park Congregational Church and the Worcester Grange where she was a member for over 60 years. Bernice enjoyed vacationing in the summertime on Cape Cod.
The funeral will be held on Thursday, January 7th at 11:00 AM in Hadwen Park Congregational Church 6 Clover St. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery.
