Dolores “Dolly” Turner, age 52, passed away Sunday, January 3, 2010 at her home in Water Valley, MS. She was born to the late Dudley Cooper Williamson, Sr. and Maria Manalisay Williamson in Agama, Guam. Dolly was the manager of the Shell station in Water Valley, MS.
The visitation will be held Thursday, January 7, 2010 from 5 to 7 PM at Seven Oaks Funeral Home in Water Valley, MS. The funeral service will be held on Friday, January 8, 2010 at 10 a.m. in the Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks Funeral Home with Rev. James Edwards presiding. The committal will be held in Oak Hill Cemetery in Water Valley, MS.
Dolly is survived by her husband of 22 years, William D. Turner of Water Valley, MS; two daughters, Sharasa Williamson of Virginia and Dolores D. Turner of Water Valley, MS; two sons, Donnie Hovis, Jr. of Kentucky and William R. Turner of Water Valley, MS; a sister, Vincenta Ann Craigo of Kearneyville, WV; two brothers, Dudley Cooper Williamson, Jr. of Germantown, TN and James Williamson of Lupton City, TN; and three grandchildren, DeQuaneishia Williamson, Alexis Cook, and LeJayla Cook.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mariquita Marie Avants, and her parents Dudley Cooper Williamson, Sr. and Maria Manalisay Williamson.
