BEVERLY: Laura Ann (Coogan) Thomas, 48, died Thursday, December 31, 2009 in the Beverly Hospital following an extended illness. She was the wife of Brian L. Thomas.
Born in Lynn on January 6, 1961, she was the daughter of the late Philip W. and Peggy A. (Cross) Coogan. She was a lifelong resident of Beverly and a graduate of Northshore Regional Vocational School.
Laura was employed at the Girdler House Retirement Home in Beverly for many years. She enjoyed Chinese food. Loved NASCAR, Jeff Gordon and all the Ladies at the Girdler House.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, Joseph Thomas of Beverly; a sister and brother-in-law, Ann-Marie and Andrew Innocenti of Beverly; a brother and sister-in-law, Robert and AnneMarie Coogan of Lynn and a nephew, Jonathan Coogan of Lynn.
Her funeral services will be privately held at the convenience of the family. There are no visiting hours.
