West Boylston
Charles W. Noyes, 89, of West Boylston passed away Sunday, January 3 at St. Vincent Hospital. His wife of 57 years, Doris E. (Almstrom) Noyes died in 2003. He leaves two sons, Robert S. Noyes and his wife Mary of West Boylston and Philip C. Noyes of Spring Hill, FL; four grandchildren, Cara M. Noyes and Amy E. Noyes both of West Boylston and Laura M. Wilson and Julie A. Noyes both of Florida; a sister, Minnie Irene Brown and her husband Joseph of Russellville, AR and nieces and nephews. Four brothers, Leroy, William, Edward and Herbert and a sister, Genevieve Young predeceased him. He was born in Chicago, IL son of Charles and Genevieve (Wertzler) Noyes and was an Air Force Veteran of WWII serving in the 8th Air Force, 385 Bomb Group.
Charles was a product planner for Jamesbury Company for many years, before retiring. He also owned and operated the former Noyes Laundry in Worcester. He was a member of Greendale People’s Church and the Harold N. Keith American Legion Post #204.

A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, January 6 at 11 a.m. in Fay Brothers Funeral Home 1 West Boylston St. Burial will be in Mt. Vernon Cemetery. Calling Hours are Tuesday, January 5 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
