Lucille L. Morier, 78, formerly of Clay St., Manchester, died September 16, 2003, at the Elliot Hospital after a brief illness.
Born in Manchester, August 5, 1925, she was the daughter of Alfred and Yvonne (Simoneau) Marchand. She was a lifelong resident of this city. She was a graduate of St. Anthony High School.
Mrs. Morier was a communicant of St. Anthony Church for most of her life, and a member of the Sodality of St. Anne of that parish.
She was married to Arthur J. Morier, who died in 1988.
Family members include her daughter, Mrs. Jean-Paul (Rita) Boucher of Melrose, MA; 2 grandsons, Thomas A. Boucher of Cranston R.I. and David P. Boucher of No. Attleboro, MA; 2 great grandchildren, Emma Boucher of Cranston, R.I. and Alyssa Boucher of No. Attleboro, MA; a sister, Cecile Bergeron of Manchester; 3 brothers, Julien “Skip” Marchand and Arthur “Pee Wee” Marchand, both of Manchester, and Roland Marchand of Hudson; many nieces and nephews.
A mass of Christian burial was celebrated Saturday September 20, 2003 in St. Anthony Church. Burial followed in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
