HOLDEN-Jennie J. (Dapska) Maloney, 87, formerly of 24 Cumberland Drive, W. Boylston died Tuesday, September 16th in Holden Nursing Home. Her husband Francis J. Maloney died in 1990. She leaves her sister Mary Carroll of W. Boylston and 2 nephews. A sister Valantine Coonan of Shrewsbury predeceased her.
She was born in Worcester the daughter of Dominick and Mary (Kunigonis) Dapska. Mrs.Maloney had been a clerk for the former First National Stores for 27 years, retiring in 1975. She was a member of St. Christopher’s Church, VFW Post 6907 Woman’s Auxilliary, and the Military Order of Cooties, Pup Tent 16.
The funeral is Friday, September 19th from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with a Mass at 10:00 in St. Christopher’s Church, 950 West Boylston Street. Burial will be in Mount Vernon Cemetery, W. Boylston. A calling hour will be from 8:30 until 9:30 AM the day of the funeral.
