Obituary

SHREWSBURY-Phyllis V. (Moylan) White, 84, passed away Thursday, December 31.

Her husband of 40 years, Philip J. White passed away in 1988. She leaves one son, Philip J. White, III and his wife Cathy of Old Farm Rd., Spencer; two daughters, Kathleen Grady and her husband Kevin of Shrewsbury and Maureen Armour and her husband Teddy of Avon; 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She also leaves four sisters, Mary P. Tangney of Worcester, Joan A. Zawalich of Duxbury, Beverly Ritchies of Rutland and Deborah T. Moylan of Dennisport. Seven brothers, John “Joe", Robert L., Richard P., Donald F., Paul, Bernard P., and David S. Moylan predeceased her.

Phyllis was born in Westborough the daughter of John “Joe” and Edna (MacGlory) Moylan and graduated from Commerce High School. She worked as a waitress at the White House Restaurant for many years. She was a member of St. Peter’s Church.

Phyllis’ funeral Mass will be on Thursday, January 7 at 11:00 AM at St. Peter’s Church, 931 Main St., Worcester. Interment will be in St. John’s Cemetery, Worcester. Visiting Hours are Thursday, January 7 from 9:00 to 10:30 AM at the funeral home.
