Francis J. “Frank” Falzarano, 76 years, of Brockton died Tuesday December 29, 2009 at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. He was the loving husband of Phyllis M. (Chick) Falzarano of Brockton. For the past three months Frank had been a patient at the VA Medical Center in Brockton.
Frank was born and raised in Boston a son of the late Frank and Marietta (Aveni) Falzarano and had been a resident of Brockton for the past 35 years. During the Korean Conflict he served in the US Army.
Frank was a retired truck driver with the Teamsters Local 25 in Charlestown and in his retirement worked at the Auto Bahn in West Bridgewater. He loved to golf and make trips to the casinos but most importantly caring for his car. He also enjoyed watching sports.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his 9 stepchildren Doreen Drake of Mt. Vernon, Maine; Denise Missios of Brimfield, MA; Darlene Hampton of Brockton, David N. Snow, Jr. of Pembroke, Charlene Johnson of Midland, Texas; Cheryl Melberg of Brockton, Darin Snow of Ware, MA; Kevin Snow of Wytheville, VA and Gina Snow of Brockton. He also leaves 17 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
A Graveside Service with military honors will be held Monday January 4, 2010 at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne at 1:15 pm. All are invited to attend. Please meet at the staging area at the cemetery.
