Lois Janell White, age 57, died at Baptist Memorial Hospital of North MS in Oxford, MS on December 30, 2009. She was born on August 1, 1952 to John and Mary Anderson Landreth in Water Valley, MS and worked for the Health Care industry in medical records. She was a member of First United Pentecostal Church of Water Valley.
Visitation will be held at Seven Oaks Funeral Home in Water Valley on Saturday, January 2, 2010 from 5:00 until 7:00 PM. Bro. Charles Compton will conduct the 2:00 PM funeral service at the First United Pentecostal Church on Sunday, January 3, 2010. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Dean Walker, Donnie Walker, Daniel Melton, Drew Melton, Mike Johnson, and Brandon Baggett serving as pallbearers.
Survivors include her husband, William “Van“ White of Water Valley, MS (formerly of Pontotoc); two sisters, Lynette Pryor and Marie Colvin, both of Water Valley, MS; and her mother, Mary Landreth of Water Valley, MS. She also leaves two special aunts, Virginia Stewart and Amy Brown, both of Water Valley, MS and a host of cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, John Landreth.
