Funeral from the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, Friday at 8 am. Funeral Mass in St. Margaret Church at 9am. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visiting Hours Thursday 4-8pm.
Obituary Information
Paul R. Moran Sr. died unexpectedly Monday after being stricken at work. He was born in Brockton, son of the late Clement F. and Louise L. (Cloutier) Moran, he had been a life long resident of Brockton and was a graduate of Brockton High School, class of 1966. He had been employed as a Master Plumber for Local 51 (formerly Local 276) Plumbers and Pipefitters, and had been a member of the union since 1969. He was a former instructor at Old Colony Trade School in Brockton, and was a former member of the Massachusetts National Guard. He was a communicant of St. Margaret Church, enjoyed working on his home, his car and attending yard sales.
He is survived by one son Paul R. Moran Jr. of Brockton, a daughter Melanie Moran of Brockton, two grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, one brother Robert Moran of Brockton, and two sisters Doris Blanchard of Brockton and Elaine Morse of Bridgewater.
He was the husband of the late Dawn M. ((Flanagan) Moran and brother of the late Patricia A. Moran.
