Methuen, Ma. – Lillian A. (Marchessault) Ouellette, 77, died Monday December 28, 2009 at the Lawrence General Hospital.
Lillian was born in Manchester, NH, and was the daughter of Louis and Alice (Turcotte) Marchessault. She was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School before beginning a retail career as Office Manager for more than 20 years at the Essex Silverline Company prior to her retirement.
According to her children Mrs. Ouellette was involved in the Methuen Senior Citizens Center, and was a gifted crocheter, who enjoyed knitting, and sewing. Lillian was an avid reader, who loved gardening, and traveling with her family.
A longtime Methuen resident Mrs. Ouellette was the widow of Ronald Ouellette and is survived by children; Ronald and wife Virginia Ouellette of Windham, Maine, Daniel Ouellette from Natick, Ma., Timothy and his wife Cynthia Ouellette of Derry, NH, two sisters Eileen Riley of Sandown, NH, and Pauline DeBruyckere of York, Maine, 7 grandchildren: Jason, Benjamin, Daniel, Nicholas, Alex, Shaun, and Ionela, two greatgrandchildren Caden and Lily as well as several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday morning 10:30 AM in Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish/St. Theresa Church 22 Plymouth Street in Methuen with burial to follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
Funeral Arrangements are under the direction of the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home 233 Lawrence Street in Methuen.
