Worcester- Mary T. (Podmostka) Keeney, formerly of 133 Endicott Street, died Sunday, Sept. 14, in Radius Healthcare Center./p
Her husband, John J. Keeney, died in 1974. She leaves a niece Barbara and her husband David Degan of Sandwich; a grandnephew, Philip J. and his wife Sarah Gonyea, both stationed with the Army in Germany. A brother, John J. Podmostka, died in 1980. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Julian and Mary (Kuniej) Podmostka and lived here all her life. She attended St. Mary’s Schools and graduated from Ascension High School. She was a machine operator at B.S. & G Company from 1942 to 1957.
She was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Parish.
The funeral will be held Wednesday, Sept. 17, from HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward Street, with a Mass at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward Street. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. A calling hour will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 17, in the funeral home.
