Lettie Ora Kelley, 99, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Monday, September 15, 2003, at Ashburn Health Care in Ashburn, Georgia.
Funeral services will be 2 P.M. Wednesday, September 17, 2003, at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bobby Stone & Rev. Bobby Rodgers officiating. Interment will follow in Pitts Cemetery in Pitts, Georgia. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 9 P.M. Tuesday evening.
Mrs. Kelley was born March 3, 1904, in Wallahalla, South Carolina, to the late William Kimsey Pitts and Letha Anna Whitman Pitts. She was a retired Lunchroom Lady at Roanoke School in Fitzgerald. Mrs. Kelley lived most of her life in Fitzgerald, but was a former resident of Franklin County, Georgia. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Fitzgerald. Her husband, N. C. Kelley, two sons, Bill Kelley and Albert Kelley, five brothers and two sisters, preceded her in death.
Mrs. Kelley is survived by three sons: Everett Kelley, Rebecca, GA; Ray Kelley, Fitzgerald; Calvin Kelley, Cleveland, GA; three daughters: Edna Oliver, Fitzgerald; Hellon Hogan, Fitzgerald; Mary Brown, Fitzgerald; one sister: Etta Lodan, Toccoa, GA; 16 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and 22 great great grandchildren.
