East Weymouth-Dennis E. Tooher Jr. , age 74 Passed away at the South Shore Hospital in Weymouth on Saturday December 26, 2009, Beloved father of Deborah Tooher of Boca Raton Florida, Diane Tooher of Hanover and Joanne Stewart of Chula Vista California also survived by his two grandchildren Elijah and Lily Stewart, and 4 Nephews. Brother of the late Paul Tooher and Joan Tooher Egerton. Mr. Tooher was born in Weymouth and lived in Hanover for 30 years, prior to moving to East Weymouth 20 years ago. Mr. Tooher was employed as a Mechanic for the Otis Elevator Company in Boston for over 35 years prior to his retirement.
He also served his country proudly in the U.S. Army as a Radio operator in Germany.
And enjoyed traveling including trips to Bar Harbor Maine. A memorial Service will be held on Wednesday December 30, 2009 at Old South Congregational Church Columbian St. South Weymouth at 12 Noon relatives and friends invited.
