WHEELDON - Janice Lawrence Wheeldon, 52, passed away Sunday morning, December 27, 2009 at Baptist Medical Center in Fernandina Beach. She was born December 22, 1957 in Jacksonville, FL and moved to Yulee 34 years ago. Mrs. Wheeldon loved her family and grandchildren. She enjoyed family outings and gatherings. She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Carlton Wheeldon of Yulee, FL; a daughter, Jessica Wheeldon, also of Yulee; three grandchildren, Nicholas, William and Blake; her parents, Travis and Betty Lawrence of Jacksonville, FL; father in law, Carl Wheeldon who lives in Ohio; one brother, Travis Wayne Lawrence of Jacksonville, FL; four sisters, June Taylor (Ernie), Debbie Claxton (Ray), Sandra Bartchlett (Tommy) and Donna Lawrence, all of Jacksonville; a cousin, Ann Littles; and other family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 30, in the Stephens Chapel at Green Pine Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the family burial estate at Green Pine Cemetery.
