Obituary

Frances T. Ferreri, age 94, of High Street, Mystic, passed away Saturday morning at her home.

She was born in Walsonburg, Colorado on March 15, 1915 the youngest of five children to Frank and Pietrina (LoPresto) Ferreri. At a young age, she moved to Mystic with her family where she received her education.

Prior to her retirement, she was employed at the former Durham-Enders Razor Company, later known as the former Weck Co..

Frances was a life-long active communicant of St. Patrick Church, Mystic where she served on various committees as well as acting as After-Mass coffee hour hostess for many years. She was also a member of the St. Mary Frances Circle, Daughters of Isabella. Active in her community, she was a volunteer at Mary Elizabeth Nursing Center and the Red Cross.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and was proud of her heritage. She will also be fondly remembered as a fixture in downtown Mystic, walking daily though town.

Frances is survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces & nephews, as well as cousins. She was predeceased by her siblings, Carrie Vinci, Santina Dolce, and Joseph & Anthony Ferreri.

Her family will greet relatives and friends at The Dinoto Funeral Home, 17 Pearl Street, Historic downtown Mystic on Wednesday from 5-7pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick Church, E. Main Street, Mystic on Thursday at 12:05pm with Fr. Brian Romanowski, Pastor, celebrating in conjuction with the daily Parish Mass. Burial will follow at the family plot at St. Patrick Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Patrick Church, P.O. Box 236, Mystic CT 06355.
