Obituary

WORCESTER-Justine M. (Shea) Walsh-Brennan, 82, died Saturday, December 26 in Radius Healthcare of Worcester. She leaves her husband Joseph M. Brennan; seven children, Patricia A. Walsh, wife of Ronald Hewett of Worcester, Justine M. Walsh of Worcester, Francine H. Ryan, wife of Paul Ryan of Northborough, Suellen Lamothe of Worcester, John P. Walsh of Worcester, Rosemary T. Walsh of Worcester and Michael A. Brennan and his wife Cheryl of Worcester; six grandchildren, Seana and Gavin Lamothe, Jonathan, Meaghan and Jillian Ryan and Christopher Hewett; and a great granddaughter, Aislinn Shea Hentz. She was predeceased by her former husband, John P. Walsh. She also leaves a brother, Kevin Keenan and his wife Loretta of Worcester, two sisters, Constance Taylor and her husband Bob of Pensacola, FL and Gail Shean and her husband Dick of Plymouth, MA and FL; two sister-in-laws; Mary Shea and Anne Keenan of Worcester; and many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by three brothers, John Shea, O. Joseph Keenan and John Keenan and a sister, Joanmarie Corbin.
She was born in Worcester, daughter of Cornelius H. Shea and Anne E. (Mahoney) Shea Keenan and graduated from North High School. Justine was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother and cared for many children throughout the years. She loved her Sunday dinners, the piano, her rosary, the ocean and her Irish heritage. She embraced life, She loved life, She was our life. The family would like to extend their deep gratitude to the staff of Radius Healthcare for the wonderful care which their mother received.
The funeral will be held on Tuesday, December 29 from CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St., with a Mass at 10:00 AM in St. John’s Church, 40 Temple St. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery. Visiting hours are Monday, December 28 from 4-7 PM in the funeral home.
