WORCESTER___ Slawek Wasilewski, 23, died in his sleep on the evening of Sunday, December 20th. He was born in Wodzislaw Slaski, Poland.
Slawek is survived by his parents Monika and Zbigniew Wasilewski, brother Marek, his grandparents, aunts and uncles, all in Poland. He also leaves in great sadness his aunt and godmother, Barbara Sobolewski and her husband Tom, cousins Kamille and Gabrysia, his great aunt, Teresa Presz and her husband Edmund; his great uncle, Kazimierz Ochap and his sons: Rafal, David and Andy all in Worcester.
Slawek loved fishing, going on trips, and spending time with his friends and cousins. He was proud of his trade and skills he acquired. He attended Quinsigamond Community College.
Slawek’s easy going nature and genuine personality gained him many friends. He never refused help to anyone who asked him. He will be remembered by all for his big heart and unforgettable smile.
Calling hours are Monday, December 28th, from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. in HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward Street, Worcester. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, December 29th at 10:30 A.M. in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward Street, Worcester. His final resting place will be in Poland. Donations will be accepted “In Memory of Slawek Wasilewski” in all TD Bank branches.
