WOODS - Ruth R. Woods, 84, passed away Friday morning, December 25, 2009 at her Yulee, FL residence. She was born July 30, 1925 in Miami, FL and moved to Yulee three years ago from Palatka, FL. Prior to her husband's death in 2006 they traveled extensively. Mrs. Woods was a wonderful mother and a devout Christian lady. She was predeceased by her husband of 42 years, Bobby Woods. Survivors include four sons and daughters in law, Robert and Terry Wood of Orange Park, FL, Tom and Sandy Greene of Jacksonville, FL, Wayne and Betty Greene, also of Jacksonville, Jim and Chris Greene of St. Augustine, FL; a daughter and son in law, Lisa and John Adams of Yulee, FL; and numerous grand and great grandchildren. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations in Mrs. Woods' name be made to Community Hospice of N. E. Florida, 4114 Sunbeam Rd.
