Rita F. (Driscoll) Wynn, 70, of Hudson, died Monday, December 21st at Marlborough Hospital after a long illness. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Ernest R. Wynn of Hudson.
Born and raised in Boston, daughter of the late Alexander and Marion (Ward) Driscoll, she was a 1955 graduate of the Jeremia Burke High School in Boston. She moved to Hudson in 1965 with her husband where she raised and cared for her family. Rita enjoyed spending her spare time doing word search puzzles and also looked forward to the yearly vacation trips she took with her husband Ernest to California, especially their trips to Las Vegas, Nevada.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her two daughters, Diane Ferris and her husband Sean of Marlboro, Laura Abbott of Hudson; her sister, Margaret Fanning of Halifax and her two grandchildren, Sean Ferris of Marlboro and Diane Alvarenga of Hudson. She is also survived by her two Great Grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and her close friends who will miss her dearly.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 26th at 11:00 a.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749. Burial in Forestvale Cemetery, Hudson, will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
