Helen C. (Fogg) Armstrong 85, died on Friday September 12th at the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Needham. Born in Boston Mrs. Armstrong was a resident of Needham for 44 years. Mrs. Armstrong was very active at the Christ Episcopal Church where she taught Sunday School, was the former Treasurer of the Steeple Exchange, sang in the Choir and was involved in many prayer groups. Helen is survived by her husband James W. of 53 years. Loving mother of Raymond G. DesRoches of Needham, Charlene F. Armstrong of Salem NH, Thomas E. Armstrong of Northbridge and the late Ronald R. Armstrong. Helen was the grandmother of 10 grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at the Christ Episcopal Church 1132 Highland Ave Needham on Tuesday September 16th at 11:30 AM.
