Sabatino “Sam” Falzarano passed away Monday, December 21, 2009 following a courageous battle with cancer. Sam was born and raised in East Boston. He attended East Boston High School. He served in the Marine Corps for eight years. He served on the Revere Police Department for 25 years (retired). He was a member of the Rockingham County Sheriff's Department and an active member of the Londonderry Police Department.
Sam is survived by his loving wife, Maria, his daughter Dana Boehm and her husband David, his stepchildren Tony and his wife Kristen, Jennifer, Jessica and Jon. Sam loved his three grandchildren Aiden & Ethan Boehm and Jack Rocha. In addition, Sam is survived by his brother Joseph and his wife, Michelle and their son Michael. He was predeceased by parents Lawrence “Larry” and Thelma.
Memorial calling hours will be held Wednesday, December 30, 2009, from 10-12 with a service to be held at 12:00 noon at Beechwood Funeral Home, 262 Beach St., Revere, MA. In lieu of flowers, his family is requesting donations be made to Dana Farber Cancer Research Center, 10 Brookline Place West, 6th floor, Brookline, MA 02445-7226 ATTN: Contribution Services.
