Pearl Mildred Walters, 83, Clarksville, died Thursday, December 17, 2009, at her residence. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Neal-Tarpley Chapel with Rev. Jamie Mandrell officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday and from 10 a.m. until the time of the service Tuesday at the funeral home. Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born February 6, 1926 in Cromwell, Minnesota, daughter of the late Thomas Nikko and Sylvia Mattson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, George Walters and a son, Randy Walters. She was retired from the Ft. Campbell School System. She was a Lutheran and member of the American Legion Auxillary Post 233 and the DAV. Survivors include a son, Steven Walters, Clarksville; three daughters, Georgette Ingria (Louis), New York; Debbie Coplen and Shari Nickell, both of Clarksville; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
