Constance E. “Connie” (Curtis) Foote, a life long resident of Medford and beloved wife of Wesley Foote, Sr. died at the Courtyard Nursing Care Center in Medford on Wednesday, December 16, 2009. She was 89 years old.
Born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, on September 14, 1920, she was the beloved daughter of the late Harry and Grace (Hiltz) Curtis. Connie was a member of the Grace Episcopal Church in Medford for more than 65 years and had worked as the payroll officer for the Medford Public School system for many years. In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing. Above all, she was a real family person, always putting her beloved family first.
Besides her husband, Wesley, she will be sorely missed by her children; Wesley and his wife Linda B. Foote of Medford, Robert A. and his wife Jan Foote of Jacksonville, Fl, Elizabeth J. and her husband Brad Corbin of Chelsea, ME and Richard C. and his wife Linda C. Foote of Groveland, grandchildren; Nancy, David, Sharyn, Meredith, Betsy, Wesley, Terry, John, Tracey, Allison and Andrew, 19 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Her funeral service was celebrated in the Grace Episcopal Church, 160 High Street, Medford, Saturday, at 2 PM. Many relatives and friend respectfully attended. Visiting hours were Friday, from 4 to 8 PM. Interment was private. Donations in Connie’s memory may be made to the above named church.
